Economic Development
Cuba City Community Development Corporation was formed as an advisory group to the Common Council. It consists of area business men and women who volunteer their time to improve retail trade and employment base.
The group elects annually five of their members to act as directors for this group. Those directors meet in closed sessions with prospective employers to entice these prospective employers to locate within our community. These directors after meeting with the prospective employers make recommendations to the common council on any incentives to be given to the prospective employers.
In addition to this the general membership meets quarterly to keep abreast of the general economy of our community. It then takes steps to keep our community growing. Cuba City is a member of the Grant County Economic Development Corporation. With this membership we are informed of any State of Wisconsin economic incentives.
